==Why she will never escape legal consequences== {{Warning|The details surrounding Travis Alexander's death are graphic. Redeeming qualities are strictly prohibited from being added onto the page, and if you were caught adding redeeming qualities, they will be reverted.}}\ #On June 4, 2008, Jodi murdered Travis Alexander in her house in Mesa, Arizona, by stabbing him 27 times in the jugular vein, common carotid artery, and trachea, slit his throat, and shot him in the head. It was then further testified that Alexander might have been dead when the gunshot was inflicted and that the back wounds were shallow. His body would later be buried at Riverside, California’s Olivewood Memorial Park cemetery.<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20211001174742/https://www.pe.com/2013/05/05/riverside-graveside-vigil-held-for-man-killed-by-jodi-arias/</ref> #The murder went unnoticed for five days until police found Travis's recently purchased digital camera damaged in the washing machine during a house search. Police were able to recover deleted images showing Arias and Alexander in sexually suggestive poses taken at approximately 1:40 p.m. on June 4. The final photograph of Alexander alive, showing him in the shower, was taken at 5:29 p.m. that day. Photos taken moments later show an individual believed to be Alexander "profusely bleeding" on the bathroom floor.<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20120118100726/https://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/2008/09/11/20080911alexander0911.html</ref> #*A bloody palm print was discovered along the wall in the bathroom hallway; it contained DNA from both Arias and Alexander.<ref>https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jodi-arias-trial-update-prosecution-shows-arias-woman-accused-of-killing-her-ex-boyfriend-made-up-stories-to-cover-her-tracks/</ref> #She then tried to play the victim card, but her attempts ended up failing, and she would later be charged with murder and dishonesty.<ref>https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jodi-arias-trial-opening-statements-paint-victim-as-alternately-devout-and-violent/</ref>
