"If I tell you right now that it's the worst channel on French YouTube, it's because it's the worst channel on French YouTube, you have no idea what CoD Forlan can do other than what he's already done. And I don't use those words lightly, it's the worst channel on French YouTube, period. It's worse than any other channel, it's worse than pranks, it's worse than fake contests, it's worse than anything, it's... it's worse. This guy has no race. Basically every time I went on the internet to do research, I came across something horrible about Forlan, I mean I stopped doing research because otherwise I would have spent my life there, I could find worse things about Forlan I wouldn't have too many problems doing it, but I stop, I stop because otherwise it will go too far I stop because otherwise the video would last 1h30 knowing that the video will last I don't know between 15 and 25 minutes, and it will be the longest video on my channel, and that's sad, it's sad because I have a lot of things to say about CoD Forlan, it's sad because he messed up on a lot of different things, it's sad, because frankly what I found on CoD Forlan, no one has ever talked about it."

CoD Forlan is a top French YouTube channel and reaction created on June 7, 2013 which became popular from 2016

Why He Sucks

1. It's one of the umpteen generic top channels that lasted a lot around 2015-2019 but it's perhaps the worst of all because its videos are of pitiful quality and come out with a lot of lies and fakes.
2. Most of its content is plagiarized from "Top 5 Channel" an American channel.
3. He was infamous for his fake contests that he organized on his channel in order to gain subscribers, the worst thing is that it worked, he was one of the French YouTubers who had one of the biggest subscriber growths, passing a million subscribers in just a few months.
   • He was giving away Hand Spinners to his community, but several winners never received their rewards.
   • He uses a website to get people to win his contests, except the website doesn't work, the number of entrants never changes regardless of the time of the live stream.
     • So literally if you join the live you will not be entered into the competition.
     • In addition, the site used uses viewers from another YouTube live.
   • In addition, to participate in his competitions, you had to be subscribed to his channel and that of his friend Goldex, like his live and leave a comment, except that you can't know on YouTube who is subscribed or who liked his live, his competitions are only there to have a maximum number of subscribers.
   • He also used Dresslily's image without their consent to make his community believe that he had a promo code to get a discount on hand spinners.
   • He also organized fake contests to "win" an iPhone 7 plus.
     • Frighteningly, it was also discovered that he was earning over €7,000 per month from his fake contests and videos.
   • He justified his fake competitions by saying that it was approved by FrenchGivaways except that this site does not exist, worse the screen used to defend himself comes from the Elle site
   • Literally, his fake contests encourage people to make donations in order to have a "better chance" of winning.
     • He earned around €1,500 in donations from his streams based on fake contests.
4. His fake contests literally cost him a strike which forced him to put his streams on hold for more than 3 months before resuming the streams showing that he had learned nothing.
5. The famous €50 Google Play cards hidden in his video that don't exist and are there just to encourage people to watch his videos from start to finish in order to increase SEO.
6. He was using Social Provider to boost his YouTube channel in addition to fake donation-based contests.
7. He literally put a 3000 dislike bot on Le Radis Irradié's video on Goldex.
8. His videos are of deplorable quality, the thumbnails are not worked on, or even do not exist, the thumbnails are often misleading and deliberately written in lower case, worse the editing of the videos is abject, it is mainly done with a PowerPoint with his voice in the background.
   • Worse, some of his thumbnails are deliberately explicit and literally inappropriate for a young audience, even though his fanbase is mainly made up of CHILDREN.
9. He is very famous for promising multiple times that he would show his face after reaching a certain number of likes and subscribers except he never did.
10. He made it look like his channel was hacked and all his videos were deleted, except that in reality, the videos were private.
11. His reaction videos are literally disgusting, he takes videos of people who are currently in a bad way and makes very bad translations into French.
    • A disgusting example is this passage where a girl explains her story on a piece of paper where it was written "i cut again :/, people noticied..." and he translated that she cut herself and that people didn't see anything while literally on the paper it was written that people had noticed.
    • Another example is this girl who explains on her paper "then after my mom died I was sexually abused, Because of this abuse I developed PTSD and stuttered severly." and he literally translated that after her rape she developed a sexually transmitted disease while literally on the paper it is written that she developed post-traumatic stress syndrome.
12. His videos are also annoying to watch, he has a very bad voice intonation which makes the video just boring.
13. He literally streamed videos of dead animals live, the most infamous example is when he streamed a video of a cat dying during surgery, he literally made a video reacting to the deaths before posting his video.
14. Literally, he asks for likes on videos that talk about serious subjects like death or harassment.
15. His other YouTube channels are just as bad.
    • Mafia Trending, which is nothing more than his English channel with a text to speech instead of his voice, which was there to try to break into the international market in vain.
    • ForLaMusic which he used to upload music to avoid having a copyright.
    • ForLaNews which is a news channel where he reuploads videos based on current events except that he literally broadcast videos of terrorist attacks, notably a video where we can see victims of the 2016 London attack.
16. After his ban he promised to become better except that literally in the same video he asks for likes again against his revealed face.

The Only Redeeming Quality

1. He finally got the banishment he deserves for all the horrible things he's done.

Reception

CoD Forlan received an ultra negative reaction from the internet for his horrible practices, very quickly he will be the subject of videos from YouTubers like MaxEstLa or even LE ROI DES RATS for all the things he has done, finally in 2018 he was banned from YouTube for his fake contests that he organized. 3 years later, his secondary channel was unbanned and he made a video on it explaining when to come back better but we will not see a new video on this channel, it is finally in 2022 that his main channel will be unbanned, unfortunately his return video was criticized because he has learned absolutely nothing from his past actions, he still continued his videos which have practically no views, his last video dates from more than 1 year ago and since then he has been losing subscribers.

It currently holds a rating of 1.9/10 on SensCritique
