Calvin Lee Vail (born August 18, 1995 [age {{#expr:(2026)-(1995)-((06)<(18)or(06)=(18)and(13)<(8))}}]), known online as LeafyIsHere or simply Leafy, is an American former Internet celebrity, best known for his YouTube channel which focused on reaction content. Vail first gained popularity on the site for his commentary on Internet videos and culture. Prior, he posted Let's Play content.

Why He's Literally Not Leafy

1. He is infamous for attacking numerous small creators because of their obscure popularity, which shows he is an elitist.
2. He also ridiculed smaller creators’ appearance and content, such as MrBlackDarkness666 and TommyNC2010, the latter of which is an autistic content creator. who reportedly even received death threats linked to being targeted in Leafy’s vid.<ref name=":0">https://www.sportskeeda.com/esports/rise-fall-controversial-youtuber-leafyishere</ref>
3. Speaking of which, the way he criticizes, such as his comments, are godawful, and target what he calls "pathetic" (just random dudes on the Internet who were just doing their life).
4. He feuded with iDubbbz because the latter criticized the former's content on the latter's Content Cop series, showing that Leafy cannot take criticism and therefore is a very insecure bully.<ref name=":0" />
5. After his temporary retirement from bullying iDubbbz, he made a content nuke on Pokimane and always lies about her, including her private life.<ref name=":0" />
6. He always targeted vulnerable individuals, like those with mental health issues and disabilities.
7. He uses remarks that disrespect women and other marginalized communities, further exemplifying him as a misogynist and xenophobic.
8. His fanbase is no better, in fact, he always encourages his fanbase to harass other people.
9. Like EDP445, he always tries to circumvent bans on various platforms, all of whom took swift action to ban him.

The Only Redeeming Quality

1. His content, while bad, is also quite funny and has some entertainment value, which could make him be considered "so bad, he's good".

Trivia

• Calvin was one of the most profane YouTubers on YouTube, nearly swearing almost every 10 seconds in all his videos.
• Calvin has met Billy the Fridge in person before.
• In most of Calvin's commentaries, he begins the clip which he is reacting to with saying “pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-play that shit!”
• On one of Leafy's Twitch streams Leafy stated that his preferred name is actually Leafy, not Calvin.
• There is a channel called Leafy Radio that contains all the songs Calvin uses in his videos (Calvin does not own the channel).
• Calvin has stated in a video and on twitter/X that he is 5'10" and in another video in order to stop rumors/allegations by some fans that he is not short, he stands up in front of the camera to show his height.
• Calvin's channel was hacked by PoodleCorp, in which after the incident Calvin had to re-title all his videos (or was backed-up by YouTube).
• In the video "Please Help Me... (Facecam)", Calvin uses the Professor Oak Research Lab Theme from Pokemon Red and Blue as the background music for the prologue/skit.
• Calvin has collaborated with YouTuber Luna a few times.
• Due to Calvin mentioning a lot of people in his videos, some of his fans started to unsubscribe the second he uploaded due to him "ranting" about them. Calvin's videos' comment sections were brutal due to mass amounts of flame wars in the comment sections between Calvin and a person he mentioned.
• Calvin was known for cracking anime jokes. His most common were pronouncing "Na-ru-toe" "nuhh-rue-toe".
• PewDiePie mentioned Calvin in multiple of his videos, originally from the game called "Gang Beast #6" where he says, "Hey everyone, Leafy here and I'm gonna kill myself." and got hit by a train in the game.
• On August 16, 2020, a fake account that is also named "LeafyIsHere" started reuploading videos as archived videos after the real LeafyIsHere account got terminated.
• In Videogamedunkey's Youtuber Tier List, he makes fun of Leafy by saying Calvin is considered to be "The Man" among youtubers. He is also S tier in Dunkey's tier list.
• He is the third-largest YouTube channel in subscribers to be terminated.
• YouTubers with over 100 million subscribers such as MrBeast and PewDiePie used to be fans of him. MrBeast still follows him on Twitter/X, and PewDiePie talked about him positively in several videos years ago.^{[citation needed]}
• He uses a Jimmy Neutron skin in Minecraft, a reference to how he occasionally starts videos saying that he is Jimmy Neutron here with a new video.
