Sara Ann Braeutigam, better known online as African Vulture is a GoAnimator that joined YouTube on August 7, 2013.

She is the creator of the Caillou Gets Grounded series.

Why She Didn't Use To Take Criticism

1. Firstly, she made and/or popularized the infamous Caillou Gets Grounded series, which killed Vyond/GoAnimate's reputation when it became popular.
2. Some of her videos, especially Caillou Gets Grounded reuses plots from other GoAnimators and recycles video ideas in general, (ie. Caillou turning Rosie into something) making her mostly unoriginal.
3. Some of videos are lazily made, they have little to no humor and storyline, she may also be using AI to create scripts for some of her videos.
4. Speaking about AI, in a few of her older community posts before being deleted, she used ChatGPT as a reliable source which is mostly inaccurate.
   • She also used Apple's AI image generator and posted results from it on her community tab, despite claiming she hates AI Art.

5. She wasn't able take any criticism at all, instead she gor upset and raged on her community tab constantly and posts herself complaining about it, often including strawmans, much like three other atrocious content creators.    • Back in 2015 when Geeoh criticised African Vulture and told her to make original content, she sent her fans after him, many of her fans sending death threats to him and even his family. This caused Geeoh to unadd her on the original GoAnimate site, and his eventual retirement from Goanimate in 2016.    • Back when Pyrocynical made a commentary video about African Vulture's first Goanimate video in 2016, she sent a false copyright strike to him, temporarily taking down his video which is abuse to YouTube's copyright system, as Pyro's video was 100% fair-use and based on the comments, she likely lied by saying she did it on accident which is not plausible at all and a terrible lie.    • Additionally back in 2019, she sent her older sister named Jenny after a couple of users and both of them were 14-year-old minors, and Jenny cussed them out and threatened harm to them. This proves that Sara is a loser who can't even fight her own battles and feels the need to ask her sister to harass minors online on her behalf.    • Back in 2021 when Raycynical called out African Vulture for being immature by celebrating Lowkeyanimator's retirement from creating Vyond content, she once again sends her fanbase to attack him, she even made a grounded video out of him<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk5dc2vFQsA&list=PLQsdnTT7-sLjvUUiLm7idWmsKwEHHlCOv&index=4</ref>, and then started what was basically a whole cancel culture campaign when pornographic art that Ray made when he was 13 or 14 was leaked by her fans. This also was a prime example of just how immature African Vulture's fanbase is in general—especially because they were so quick to call Ray a predator for art he made when he was only 13-14 years old, (Which is not ok, at the same time, he was just a kid and we all make mistakes and it was fictional, so this wouldn't make him a sex offender) but these same people constantly made videos of themselves RAPING users that they disliked which were usually minors, but nobody ever calls them out for this, which is very hypocritical and proves that African Vulture's fanbase is as immature as African Vulture. 6. She also tends to delete videos that she has been criticized for making, however she doesn't even announce why she deletes certain videos.

8. She also tends to insult her kid audience by calling them GoKids, in which is ironic since a majority of her fanbase is full of kids.

9. She also claims that she's the most popular Vyonder, when there are actually several Vyond content creators with larger followings than her, such as Tbone Animate, RackAnimate, Matt The GoAnimater, and Redmau, and GoTube, meaning she isn't even in the top 5 most popular Vyond content creators.
10. In August 2019, African Vulture out of nowhere got angry about Pyrocynical's reaction video about her video mentioned earlier in the article. At the time, this video was 3 years old, she made over 50 tweets in one day raging about an old video about her from 3 years ago that wasn't even relevant anymore<ref>https://youtube.com/watch?v=QH2i40S2IU8</ref>
11. When she initially had 100,000 subscribers, she was celebrating and wrote about the milestone on her book, but a few days later, YouTube deleted around 200 subscribers and made her count drop below 100K, so she privated her sub count out of embarrassment, and when called out for it, she lied about it and said she doesn't care about subscribers and it's not important, which is a prideful lie.<ref>https://youtube.com/watch?v=3ViOcBLAa-Q</ref>

    • Even worse, she never apologized to her kid fans for making said video.
13. Speaking about the African Vulture cycle, African Vulture claimed that she would ignore the drama and leave it alone, yet a week later she goes back to do it again on her community tab, which upsetted her fanbase as she basically lied to them. Thankfully, she rarely does it anymore, and now makes proper community posts.
14. African Vulture made a blatantly racist video where Rosie says various swear words, including the slur nigger, there was absolutely no reason for to include this word in the video, meaning she typed it in the TTS box. She deleted it with her other old videos, and later archived it with a half-assed apology in the description, then deleted that video and reuploaded it once more, removing the word.<ref>https://youtu.be/YX6z0TdTRVw?t=9m11s</ref>
    • In fact, she shouldn't have included that word, as African Vulture is white in real life.
15. Speaking of racism, in 2023 she came out as African-American RCTA (Race Change To Another) on discord, saying "I've always felt a little ghetto" and said she loves Africa and wants to be a part of them and she doesn't feel white anymore, and even said she wants to get a heavy tan and put on a perm to look black, and then when her friends tried to explain why this is wrong, she called them transphobes.<ref>https://goanimate.fandom.com/wiki/File:AVrcta.png</ref><ref>https://goanimate.fandom.com/wiki/File:AVrcta2.png</ref> Furthermore, this could be seen as promoting blackface, which is an incredibly racist and widely condemned practice.
16. She once defended people that make/made child abuse videos out of kids show characters. 17. She made false accusations against certain people by jumping to conclusions and acting on impulse.

19. She beated deadhorses that have quit making Vyond content, such as Dillo who made various points about the poor moderation of Flashthemes and how the community makes false accusations against people they hate, even if he was construversal for trying to bring back the old experience of GoAnimate and his constant rants about the community and site, which is somewhat justified since the people that ran the site are minors and don't have much experience in the GoAnimate community..<ref>https://flashthemes.net/movie/RpbCRG</ref>
20. She claimed she behaved the way she does because she is on the autism spectrum and has anxiety and depression, many people who have these disabilities/issues don't behave as poorly as she does, so she uses that as an excuse to guilt trip others.
21. Instead of blocking people that are trolls or say things that she doesn't like, she used to respond very immaturely to them<ref>https://flashthemes.net/movie/lRpiph</ref> and make user videos out of them<ref>https://flashthemes.net/movie/hvpgLu</ref>, instead of deleting their comment, FlashThemes has no blocking system but it still isn't hard to ignore (*Sources refer to the comment sections of FT movies*)
22. In one of her exposing videos against Gamecubian<ref>https://youtu.be/zZEoqGIfPw8?si=QaiF0744Wy79WyYT</ref>, she shows her fans mostly of minors his accounts, and many of the suggestive artworks with the artist's name and title of the artwork left uncensored, meaning she unintentionally exposed kids to suggestive or NSFW content.
23. Due to most of these reasons, she was basically a bad influence in the Vyond, Wrapper Offline, and FlashThemes community and a terrible YouTuber who did so many messed up things in the Vyond community that it passes the point of being forgivable.
    • Because AV is the most popular user on FlashThemes, many people that join the site would follow her content style and act just like her, which was very bad.

Redeeming Qualities

1. Her Miss Mouth and Super Mario Bloopers series, and tribute videos are good
2. Aside from Caillou is Grounded series, her content was actually good as they had original plots, and African Vulture was giving her original character Miss Mouth the spotlight she deserved
   • On top of that, she also toned down her grounded and Caillou videos since October 2025, knowing that they have been done in the GoAnimate world so many times as the GoAnimate community's cash cow. In fact, making less grounded and Caillou videos is one of her New Year's resolutions for 2026.
   • Also, her profile picture was always Miss Mouth.
   • She also started to make more original non-grounded videos and videos to jab at brainrot, alongside not plagiarising Eric Catozzi despite being inspired to make Big Baby Tom videos.
3. Sometimes, she actually puts effort in her GoAnimate content.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF3zAno5Azw</ref>
   • On top of that, she has started to put more effort in her animated videos in the recent months.
4. Surprisingly, as of August 2025, she stopped making community posts of her complaining about criticism, meaning she might have now taken constructive criticism, so the African Vulture cycle has been broken. Also, she may represent the GoAnimate community in a better way, given that she is whom Vyonders (especially young Vyonders born in the late 2000s) look up to.
   • In January 2026, she posted complaining about pages that criticize people; however, she only did it once. Also, that is also African Vulture expressing dislike towards reception wikis for good reasons, such as cherry-picking random people the editors don't like, harassing Vyond video creators and name-calling.    • On top of that, she ceased to delete comments that criticised her, meaning that there are now comments that give her advice on her videos
5. She does make original tribute and documentary/history videos in order to interest and entertain us, and also respect the deceased.
6. She at least debunked the conspiracy theories of her Childish Dad and Big Baby Tom videos being 'ableist'
