William "Will" Jordan or The Critical Drinker (born: April 30, 1983 [age 42])[citation needed] is a controversal Scottish YouTuber. His is known for film and TV reviews, however he has been criticized due to both factual inaccuracies in his review along with him shoe horning his own beliefs into his videos.

Why He's Not A Critical Thinker

1. The main problem with him is that he blames wokeness and the message for the reasons why movies suck now.
2. His voice and tone is just annoying to listen to as he tries to sound like a Scottish drunkard.
3. He has far right beliefs and brings himself into American culture wars despite being Scottish.
4. He is very sexist towards female actors. Even if the movie is well received, he'll bash it because of a girlboss, though this isn't always the case.
5. Despite hating them, he is obsessed with Brie Larson and Rachel Zegler to the point where he makes lies about them for views. An example is with Zegler's Fury Of The Gods review where he lies about what Zegler said about her job.
6. He is shown to be mean towards specific actors (Mainly actresses as stated) and celebrities, having made a Crash & Burn series invplvong them. These videos are just clickbait and are made just to bash them
7. He only makes videos on mainstream and blockbuster type movies. He barely does videos on smaller movies.
8. When forced to name recent Japanese movies, he ended up naming old Korean and Chinese movies instead, proving he doesn't watch foreign films. Though he did a video on an Indian film.
9. He can be a hypocrite as he is fine with Kpop Demon Hunters being a girlboss type movie which is what he hates.
10. Even his movie and books are not well received and they've received flack for stuff that he doesn't like.
11. He is also racist as he called Danielle Brooks' character in A Minecraft Movie a random black lady with no purpose in the film for example.
12. His horrible review on Black Panther where he calls it overrated and he is proven to be racist even im thie video as he doesn't like it having a black lead. It cam also be seen as disrespectful to the late Chadwick Boseman.
13. Back in 2019, after the MCU ended it"s third phase, he spoke about being done with it after Endgame and not wanting to watch more movies that come out. Despite this, he still kept making videos on the movies that followed it. No one is forcing you to watch them if you don't want to.
14. He collaborated with Ben Shapiro who is known for being a far right commentator, having made videos with him. He has also been somehwat positive towards Daily Wire's movies and was in favor of their Snow White which may have been cancelled after Brett Cooper left.
15. His review of Thunderbolts was so bad to the point where he got called out even by his fans.
16. His Why Modern Movies Suck series is just awful and is full of nostalgia biases and hate towards girlboss characters. He also brings up The Last Jedi as an example of why, beating a dead horse at it's finest.
17. He talks about Star Wars being dead and being done with it and still continues to make more videos about it instead of finding something else to watch.
18. There are some movies he helds in high regard which he would hate if they came out today.
    • His The Strong Female Character video is also hypocritical since some of the characters he brought up at the start would be hated by him if these movies came out today.
19. He is close friends with Nerdrotic, whom sold meth to kids and is also a worse Youtuber than Drinker.
20. He rarely ever positively reviews things and will review them negatively even if they're positively received.
21. He is very critical about Disney and has said almost nothing good about anything recent they've done. It is the same with Marvel and Star Wars.
22. He always speaks about Hollywood failing and falling apart despite all the high grossing and well received movies that come out of it. Sure some movies may be bad, but that doesn't make all of them bad and it doesn't mean Hollywood is dying.
23. His tone of saying The Message and Virus of Unknown Origin can get annoying at times.
24. His Drinker's Chasers channel is also just awful as it's just him discussing with other Youtubers like Mauler and it can have either insulting or clickbait titles.
25. His subreddit is the absolute worst as it's full of misogyny and hate towards women and actresses. Even some peope on r/Mauler defend him.
26. He also has a gaming channel called The Critical Gamer which has the same problems as his main channel. He also blames ugly women for why games suck which is laughable and pathetic at best.
27. Overall, he's a Youtuber who comes off as a grifter that makes politically fueled or anti woke reviews and also believing politics ruined Hollywood when that's simply not true. His mindset is shared with other Youtubers like Nerdrotic, Yellowflash, Geeks + Gamers and Ryan Kinel whom he's close too.

Redeeming Qualities

1. He has made some decent reviews, such as on The Whale.
2. At least his thumbnails don't use ugly filters, buzzwords, or AI unlike some other grifter channels.
