BENJIxScarlett is a YouTuber and musician. He is best known for songs about popular movies and games such as Inside Out 2 and Garten of Banban. In addition, he has made songs under the name BENJIx.

Why He and His Music (Intentionally) Isn't The Best Ever

1. Most of the lyrics in his songs and music videos are inaccurate.
   • In the Inside Out 2 song, he named one of the emotions "Boredom" instead of Ennui.
   • In the Battle For Dream Island song, Teardrop sings despite the fact that she never speaks in the series.
2. Speaking of his lyrics, they usually begin with "I am [character]", "my name is [character]", "this is the [subject] song", "Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've been waiting for, the best [media] song ever", and in all of his [character] x [character] songs, "[character]? Yes [character]? I don’t know if I can survive in [location] alone". The lyrics are notoriously repetitive, repeating the character or media's name multiple times throughout.
3. His earlier music videos contained content that was by other people and didn't credit them.
4. In his newer music videos, the animation and art is really poor, and some of the characters in his music videos don't match the design of the original characters, an example of this is Joy from Inside Out. She does not wear shoes in the movies.
   • In addition to the animation, most of the time the characters sway side to side in a loop with no change whatsoever. Other times they are seen running or fighting each other.
   • The worst offender of this is the Shelly x Vee song, with compressed backgrounds that look like they were taken off of Google Images and stilted animation between Shelly and Vee.
   • One of his songs under BENJIx, Low Budget Love used AI for the music video and the single cover.
   • Any of his music videos with lyrics syncing to the song are either inaccurate and/or off-beat.
   • There are characters that do not belong in the music video related to the subject, such as Shin Sonic being in a Sprunki music video.
5. His songs are usually ridiculously short, lasting less than a couple of minutes.
6. The formatting of his songs are almost always the same, usually chorus, verse (usually him rapping) and the chorus again.
7. He made a song against his haters called Catnap's Got My Back, which means he can't take criticism. It doesn't help that most of the comments in his videos are negative.
   • To make matters worse, he filed a false copyright strike against OGLofi just for criticizing his songs and music videos, which FURTHER proves that he can't take even the slightest form of criticism.
8. His single covers aren't good and follow the same format, usually the subject of the song and the name of the song in yellow text at the bottom.
   • Some of the covers were AI-generated, an example being the Candy Canyon Kingdom Song.
   • He also reuses some pictures for other songs, like the aforementioned Candy Canyon Kingdom Song's cover being used for the Candy Carrier Chaos song except with the Amazing Digital Circus logo on it.
9. He has stole instrumentals from other songs from other artists for his own songs, such as "Ultimacy Rush" by Ultimacy.
10. He has used AI to make and/or write his songs, such as the Inside Out 2 song, which is just a lazy practice. Not helping is that AI is controversial among the music industry for allegedly aiming to take over jobs.
11. While he has stated that the songs on the BENJIxScarlett channel are meant to be jokes, people have not taken him seriously as seen in the comment section of his videos, which are negative most of the time.
12. His voice isn't that charismatic, and can sometimes get onto the listener's nerves in some songs. When he raps, he sounds bored.
    1. In Catnap's Got My Back, his rapping sounds annoying as he supposedly tries his hands at scream rapping in a vein similar to 6ix9ine.
13. Sometimes, he doesn't sing in his own songs. He has had others sing his songs, but none of their names are credited, with exceptions. Some of the voices that have sung his songs can be annoying. It is possible that the voices in some of his songs might be AI-generated.
14. He is highly litigious, denying any access of any of his videos from any web browser. As a result, many people who attempt to play his videos on other web browsers besides YouTube will instead receive an error message, saying that the uploader has disabled video playback on other web browsers and that they have to watch it on YouTube instead.
15. He is known for his disgusting content, as he would make (X) GYATT videos.
16. His AI-generated music is posted on places like Spotify, which can guarantee a legal sentence, since one man actually posted AI-generated music on that platform and got arrested in real life.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The thumbnails of his music videos, while generic and uses stolen official art, are pretty nice to look at, despite the videos themselves being clickbait.
2. His music under BENJIx isn't that bad.
3. He has stated in recent videos that the songs are not meant to be taken seriously.
