Countryballs, also known as Polandball, is an Internet meme, predominantly used in online comics strips in which countries or political entities are personified as anthropomorphic balls with eyes, decorated with their national flags. Comics feature the characters in various scenarios, mostly poking fun at international relations and historical events. Other common features in Countryball strips include non-English countries speaking in broken English — with vocabularies of their national languages included, political incorrectness, and black comedy. Strips are generally created using Microsoft Paint or more advanced graphic art software, often made to intentionally look crudely drawn.

Countryballs continue to be popular on the Internet, with the Facebook community reaching over 215,000 members by July 2015, and the subreddit r/Polandball reaching over 650,000 by 2024.

Why They Should Have a Taste Of US Democracy Nowadays

1. The main problem with this community is that a lot of Countryball creators (especially popular ones with around 100k subs and more) have been exposed and committed a lot of wrongdoings:
   • Pedophilia/Creep - A bunch of creators who got exposed are mostly being accused of being a creep/pedophile towards a minor or a victim in mostly Discord and WhatsApp (not really). Some of them threaten people to make revenge porn towards their haters. But judging most of them are under 18, they shouldn’t be considered a pedophile at all. ATH-Animations and Noah Dabir are the examples of this.
   • NSFW - Small Countryball creators will share NSFW Countryball animations to bypass YouTube’s Community Guidelines and it’s poor moderation towards their fanbase, and minors too. These types of content were getting really common everywhere as well. They also draw pornography and NSFW drawings without the person's consent.
   • Racism - Some of them saying racist words like the n-word, despite not being black!
   • Grooming - A creator will keep begging victims to send pictures of nudes and themselves without clothes towards the abuser in Discord without consent, and it is making the victim itself very uncomfortable. Faqids did this.
   • Roleplay - Some of them did sexual roleplay towards their victims and try to make them uncomfortable or are enjoying themselves into it. Noah Dabir is an example of this as well.
   • Supporting bad ideologies - Some of them are exposed for supporting terrorist, extremist groups and Nazi ideology. They have shown support on Hitler, the Taliban and ISIS.
   • Toxicity - A few of them are being caught being very toxic towards their victims, people, their fans and haters too. But some of them eventually change in the end.
2. Probably the worst ones in the Countryball community were also Countryball exposers too. Although they try to call out the bad YouTubers and try to do good deeds like saving the community, they are also responsible for stiring up drama in the community and harass those Countryball YouTubers that have their terrible past of the same things as mentioned before like VilGP. Rvpentant started this.
   • Even worse, although some of them debunk the situation, those exposers did not care about that although they either apologised or released a Google doc about it and continue to attack and harass them, like Rvpentant who nuked VilGP’s server.
3. Some Countryball exposers have also make fake evidence to frame the Countryball animators too. Which is unacceptable.
4. Plagiarism: Nowadays, lots of new Countryball Creators and big channels like Stateballs are stealing ideas from other Countryball creators and make their own version of their animations without giving any credit to their original creators.
5. Lack of creativity: Biggest Countryball YouTubers like Stateballs, who has over 1 Million subscribers on YouTube along with lots of company owned channels like CountryZ always farm content by posting unoriginal Countryball animations, reusing the same Countryball moves and as mentioned before, stealing ideas.
6. Most of the most subscribed Countryball YouTubers were operated by corporation companies, except MrSpherical and PWA.
7. Some of them can’t take criticism at all, they either crashed out on exposers for exposing them or they just delete hate comments and make Community posts about their haters.
8. Following #7, some of them also try debunking the situation with weak, pathetic excuses.
9. There was even more drama in this community compared to 2023 and earlier, mainly small creators and haters who harassing each other and calling out each other.
   • It also caused alot of Countryball YouTubers to be suffering depression due to being harassed and getting uncomfortable.
10. Some people fake reporting creators like Opera_CB and Basically Thai to bypass YouTube's AI moderation system and to get them banned, thankfully most of these attempts failed.
11. Shipping people has become even common nowadays, although it can be excused for just doing it for jokes, shipping can make people even more uncomfortable.
12. Another type of Countryball videos, Countryball stickers has the similar problems like the Countryball community and even has it’s own page in Wretched YouTube Videos wiki.
13. It was also used in content farming by big Countryball channels too just for views and more subscribers.
14. they also break the Countryball rules, by putting mouths on Countryballs.
15. A lot of the creators eventually left the community due to lack of motivation or the state of what is happening to Countryball community nowadays. TBA

Redeeming Qualities

1. They used to be good before 2024, which makes the downfall even sadder.
2. Even during that time, there are amazing Countryball YouTubers like Wahyu1039, MAXYU, Hayanura, VilGP (Ezrynx), and more.
3. Countryball animations have been evolved to Countryball edits which are extremely fun, creative and amazing.
4. Some bad Countryball YouTubers and even amazing ones can take criticism too.
5. Some Countryball exposers arent as bad as Rvpentant and make a good point about pedophiles and the community state that is now.
6. Some who got exposed either successfully debunked the drama/situation or apologised for their actions and changed. TBA
